3 Area Teams Vie for CIF Titles

Two area high school baseball teams and one softball team will compete for Southern Section CIF titles Saturday.
Millikan High of Long Beach (23-6) meets Huntington Beach Edison (17-12) at 7:30 p.m. at Anaheim Stadium in the 5A baseball championship game. La Mirada (22-4) plays top-ranked Ontario (25-0) for the 3A title at 1 p.m.
At Mayfair Park, La Mirada (23-4) meets Quartz Hill (22-3) at 5:30 p.m. to decide the 3A softball championship.
