Police Shooting Likened to L.A.

In regard to the probably unnecessary death of Owen Spring at the hands of Ventura police (“Officer Kills Man at Boardinghouse,” May 1): Obviously, when it comes to police work, this is just like L.A.
Just like L.A. they force you at gunpoint to kneel. Just like L.A. they shoot to kill without warning. Just like L.A. they call it “justified.”
Obviously, people in Ventura can expect to be treated like a King by the police--just like in L.A.
