Nevada boxing officials upheld a one-year suspension and a $25,000 fine for promoter Murad Muhammad’s involvement in a brawl after the heavyweight fight between Mike Tyson and Razor Ruddock.
Muhammad charged into the ring along with others after referee Richard Steele stopped the bout in the seventh round with Ruddock on his feet. Videotapes of the incident show him kicking Tyson’s trainer, Richie Giachetti.
