Beverly Hills : Race Route Plans Rejected
- Share via
The city Recreation and Parks Commission turned down the initial request by the Arthritis Foundation to hold a 10-K and 5-K run in Beverly Hills, citing concerns about the event’s route. Commissioners said that rather than limiting the route to the southern part of the city, foundation officials should consider alternative race routes that would take runners in a less congested area north of Santa Monica Boulevard. The commission will review alternative routes at its June 10 meeting.
