OXNARD : Community Leader Joins Hart’s Staff

Longtime Oxnard resident Irma J. Lopez recently joined the staff of state Sen. Gary K. Hart, (D-Santa Barbara), as a field representative in his Ventura district office.
Lopez, 44, who worked for 17 years with the state Employment Development Department in Oxnard, will respond to inquiries from residents of Ventura County, Woodland Hills and Malibu, said Beverly O’Gorman, Hart’s administrative aide.
Lopez serves on the board of directors for El Concilio del Condado de Ventura.
