Freemont General Corp. has named Louis J. Rampino senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Rampino, 39, who joined the firm in 1977, was formerly senior vice president of operations for the Santa Monica-based company, which is engaged in insurance and financial service businesses through subsidiaries.
