Child-Resistant Caps Proposed for Ibuprofen: The Consumer Product Safety Commission proposed that child-resistant packaging be required for ibuprofen pain relievers, citing increasing numbers of poisonings in children. The proposal, subject to public comment, would apply to non-prescription ibuprofen medicines. Major brands of ibuprofen include Motrin and Nuprin. Two youngsters who swallowed ibuprofen have died, the commission said.
