New KNBC anchor: Award-winning San Francisco anchor Wendy Tokuda will become the weekend anchor at KNBC Channel 4 in December. Tokuda, who began her career in broadcasting as a secretary in Seattle, has worked as a reporter and primary anchor at KPIX, the CBS Bay Area affiliate, since 1978. She’ll be replacing June Thomson, whose contract wasn’t renewed.
