VENTURA : Cancer Society Shop Accepts Used Goods

Donations are being accepted at the American Cancer Society’s new resale shop in Ventura.
The Discovery Shop sells used clothing, jewelry, china, housewares, antiques and collectibles to help raise funds for cancer research and services to cancer patients, said Emma Jensen, spokeswoman for the American Cancer Society’s Ventura County unit.
All donations are tax-deductible, she said.
Contributions will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the store, 434 E. Main St.
