SAN CLEMENTE : Village Art Fair Will Be Revived
- Share via
After a year of rounding up artists and volunteers, the Downtown Business Assn. has revived a local tradition, the Village Art Fair.
Sue Monlux, director of media relations for the city’s Chamber of Commerce, said that organization used to co-sponsor the fair four times a year, but it stopped a year ago after the other co-sponsor left town with all the planning information.
The Downtown Business Assn. agreed to help the Chamber of Commerce, but it took a year to build up the list of contacts needed to stage the event, Monlux said.
Southern California artists are expected to perform and create their works during the fair, which will be held on Sept. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. The fair will take place in the 100 and 200 blocks of Avenida del Mar.
