Capistrano Valley basketball Coach Mark Thornton has to wait a little longer before he can use the school’s new gymnasium, which needs a few minor problems worked out.

No problem.

“I’ve been expecting to move into the new gymnasium for 10 years, what’s a few more weeks?” Thornton said.

The Cougars have a smaller gym that was suitable for practice, but not games. They played their home games at Saddleback College.
