Regardless of how American The Times would have us believe the occupation is (I point to the cover photo of the family peering out from under the American flag and the photo, among others, of another occupation member on horseback, giving that “home on the range” look), we shouldn’t forget that the continued takeover of the territories is against the policy of the U.S. and against U.N. resolutions, which makes the continuing occupation a slap in America’s face.
