Four suspected drug dealers accused of selling nine pounds of cocaine to an undercover detective were being held Monday in Ventura County Jail after their arrest last week outside a Westlake restaurant, authorities said.
Richard Mandel of Chatsworth and Agoura residents Anthony Scearce, Jeannene Cramm and Michael Gates were each being held on $500,000 bail.
Scearce, 34, and Cramm, 23, were booked on drug and weapons charges, while Mandel and Gates, both 23, were booked on suspicion of possession and sale of cocaine.
The four were arrested Dec. 9 after a four-week investigation.
Authorities had received a tip that Scearce and Cramm were selling 2.2-pound quantities of cocaine out of their house, Sgt. Gary Pentis said.
A search of the couple’s Lost Hills Road home uncovered another half a pound of cocaine, a machine gun and a pipe bomb with electronic detonator, Pentis said.
