A Glen Falls, N.Y., court appearance for pitcher Dave LaPoint on a disorderly conduct charge was postponed until Jan. 21, LaPoint’s wife, Laura, said. The charge stemmed from an incident Sunday after the two left a bar. LaPoint’s wife said the pitcher was trying to calm a group in what seemed a volatile situation.
