* Christine R. Hanson has been named vice president of MCA Inc. In her new capacity, she will continue to head the Universal City-based entertainment company’s office of corporate communications and public affairs.
Hanson has worked at MCA since 1974. She was appointed assistant corporate secretary in 1985, and served as MCA’s spokeswoman during its sale to Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. of Japan in 1990. She has headed corporate communications since last year.
