Teledyne Lays Off 90 at Its Northridge Plant

Teledyne Systems in Northridge laid off 90 workers in late May, said Teledyne Inc., the Los Angeles-based parent of the division that makes avionics equipment.
A Teledyne spokesman said the layoffs were “due to business conditions.” He did not elaborate. The layoffs were not concentrated in any department, he said, and they represented less than 10% of Teledyne’s work force in Northridge.
