Roberts to Anchor: John Roberts, a correspondent with CTV Canada and anchor of Canada’s highest-rated morning show, “Canada AM,” will replace Charles Osgood as anchor on the “CBS Morning News.” No date has been set for Roberts’ start. He will join Meredith Vieira, who has been working with correspondent John Stehr since Osgood’s departure to concentrate on his CBS News Radio program, “The Osgood Files.”
