1991: State Division III runner-up, Southern Section III-AA champion, Pacific Coast League champion, Manhattan College Invitational champion.
Key returners: Tiffany Boykin, So., 51st at the State meet; Tosha Clements, Sr., No. 6 runner at State; Becky Hagin, Jr., No. 7 runner at State; Heather McGlone, Sr., 37th at State; Mayra Medina, Sr., section champion and 18th at State; Heidi Sickler, Sr., 16th at State.
Key newcomers: Emily Harrox, So.; Tara Higgins, So.
Outlook: The Hawks have six of their top seven back from last season’s State runner-up. And there isn’t much separating the top three of McGlone, Medina and Sickler. Medina won the section individual title but finished five seconds behind Sickler at State a week later. This seems to be a team destined to make its return to Fresno come November.
