Gore’s Views on the Environment

Pertaining to “Gore Attacks GOP Record on the Environment,” Aug. 29:
I believe it is time that Gore is set straight. The EPA was formed under Richard Nixon, Republican. In the past 20 years air quality has improved due to the policies of the Republican Party, and despite the over-regulations the Democrats proposed.
Sen. Gore, business is best suited to protect the environment; not government.
