OCEANSIDE : 25-Year-Old Stabbed to Death Near Home

A 25-year-old Oceanside man was stabbed to death in a carport near his home early Thursday, police said.
Roberto Martinez Cruz, who worked as a dishwasher at an Oceanside restaurant, lived in the 500 block of Greenbrier Road. Police received a call about 1 a.m. Thursday and found Martinez stabbed at a carport at 514 Greenbrier Road, near his home.
He died at the scene after police arrived, an Oceanside Police Department spokesman said.
