Cruise Ship Runs Aground on Rock Off Maine Coast

ROCKLAND, Me. — A cruise ship with 135 people aboard ran aground on a rock off the Maine coast, then floated free hours later in the rising tide, Coast Guard officials said. Four people suffered minor injuries when the 210-foot Nantucket Clipper became stuck on a rock Wednesday in Penobscot Bay. The ship sustained damage to the hull and a diesel tank.
