Immigration Policy Flawed

The recent case of Francisca Sanchez Jimenez is a perfect example of the insanity of the federal government’s open-border policy. This woman broke the law by entering the United States illegally, then bore two babies; the first suffered brain damage when she tried to flush him down a toilet, and is now in foster care; the second, she dropped into a portable toilet where he suffocated to death on human waste. Now, instead of being deported, we will pay for her room, board and health care for eight to 10 years.

It would be interesting to know the total cost to taxpayers for just this one criminal. First, her trial with a public defender and various “experts” in mental health paid to testify for her. But this is only the beginning. Because of our own stupid law, the surviving baby is a U. S. citizen. He has a Social Security number and will have disability benefits forever.
