The brother of a West Hills man who was found shot to death in his bed was arrested Friday in connection with the shooting, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Forrest Woolman, 25, was arrested at his father’s home in Van Nuys on Friday morning on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of his brother, Randy, 29.
Randy Woolman’s body was discovered about 5 p.m. Thursday at his residence in the 8500 block of Capistrano Avenue, said Sgt. James Darling. Woolman had been shot in the upper body.
Officers went to the dead man’s home after his employer became concerned when Woolman failed to show up for work, Darling said.
A motive for the shooting had not been established.
