Oxnard Police Behave Badly

Uniformed men, armed to the teeth, pound on doors early in the morning, search houses and drag away half-naked victims. Is this a scene from Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia? Is it Albania, or Cuba or Idi Amin’s Uganda? No sir. This is Oxnard right here in California in the free and democratic USA and the armed men aren’t thugs. They’re our brave local cops protecting and serving.
If suspected gang members can be treated like this, what other “suspects” are next? Jews, liberals, Christians, or political dissidents? It seems to me no one is safe if we allow such flagrant violation of the spirits of freedom, democracy and individual dignity which are supposed to be basic to our way of life.
