The Showboat’s Coming: Singer-actor and former “Dallas” star Howard Keel is the latest performer to head for Brandon, Mo., the new up-and-coming show-biz mecca. Keel has plans to open a $10-million Howard Keel Showboat Theatre there, a 2,100-seater that will accommodate full-scale Broadway musical productions.
