Perot Re-Enters Presidential Race

As usual your editorial (“How Much Would Perot Plan Help?” Sept. 30) has missed the point and need for a Perot candidacy. First, there was no mention about Perot’s plan to stimulate the economy, i.e., rebuilding highways, constructing transportation networks and building a telecommunications system for the 21st Century, which would create needed jobs.
Second, Perot’s candidacy is not about Ross Perot, it’s about shaking up a corrupt and uncreative political system that defiantly ignores the needs of the people. If Perot’s unorthodox “political campaign” only sends a wake-up call to our do-nothing politicians in Washington, he will have done us all a great service.
