Unbeaten Runners Featured in Staub

Margarito Casillas of Hoover High and Ryan Wilson of Agoura, both undefeated, will duel today in the Kenny Staub cross-country invitational at Crescenta Valley Park.

Casillas finished fifth in last year’s Kinney national championships, and Wilson was the runner-up in the state Division II championships. They will meet in the boys’ Division I race, which starts at 9:50 a.m.

Agoura, the top-ranked team in the nation, heads the list of entries in the girls’ Division I race, which starts at 9:15.

Other top entries are Peninsula, runner-up last year to Agoura in the state Division I meet; Belmont, the three-time defending City Section champion; and Hart.
