TODAY’S GAMES Visitor / Home: Comment
El Camino (4-1, 1-1) / Carlsbad (2-3, 1-1): If El Camino looks ahead to Oceanside, Carlsbad could surprise the Wildcats.
San Marcos (0-4-1, 0-2) / Oceanside (2-3, 1-1): San Marcos has scored only 14 points in five game. Where’s Mark Frazier?
San Pasqual (5-0, 2-0) / Ramona (0-5, 0-2): San Pasqual keeps rolling. Ramona needs a miracle.
Escondido (1-4, 1-1) / Torrey Pines (4-1, 2-0): Torrey Pines might be looking ahead to San Pasqual, but it shouldn’t matter.
Madison (2-3, 0-1) / Lincoln (0-5, 0-0): Hornets’ six-game losing streak should finally end today. Should .
Serra (1-4, 1-0) / Crawford (2-3, 0-0): Colts get better every week. Serra has not won since first game.
Morse (5-0, 0-0) / Mira Mesa (2-3, 0-0): Tigers’ 31-13 loss to MM in ’91 was worst since ’86. They haven’t forgotten.
Coronado (2-3, 0-0) / Clairemont (1-4, 0-0): It’ll be hard to imagine the winner being in first place.
University City (5-0, 0-0) / USDHS (2-3, 0-0): Dons should end UC shutout string;but Centurions are tougher at night.
Mission Bay (4-1, 0-0) / La Jolla (1-4, 0-0): The Buccaneers are thinking payback for their 49-8 loss to Vikes last year.
Mt. Miguel (1-4, 0-0) / Granite Hills (2-3, 0-0): Mt. Miguel’s fumblitis gives Eagles chance for second consecutive shutout.

El Cajon (2-3, 0-0) / West Hills (0-5, 0-0): West Hills hasn’t scored infour weeks. El Cajon gave up 49 points last week.
Valhalla (2-3, 0-0) / Santana (2-3, 0-0): Santana shouldn’t lose a league game until season finale at El Capitan.
Chula Vista (3-1-1, 2-0) / Bonita Vista (4-1, 2-0): Prediction: Underdog BV can’t beat traditional power CV in battle of unbeatens.
Castle Park (3-2, 0-2) / Mar Vista (2-3, 0-2): After two consecutive losses, Castle Park’s vaunted offense looks lifeless.
Hilltop (0-5, 0-2) / Montgomery (2-2-1, 1-1): Montgomery shouldn’t have any trouble rebounding from upset loss to Chula Vista.
Southwest (4-1, 2-0) / Sweetwater (3-2, 1-1): Surprising Southwest wants to prove it can contend for Metro championship.
Vista (4-1, 2-0) / Mt. Carmel (3-1-1, 2-0): Mt. Carmel’s speed is great equalizer against Vista’s tradition.
Poway (4-1, 2-0) / RBV (1-4, 0-2): What’s wrong with this picture? Poway’s going for league title.
Fallbrook (4-1, 1-1) / Rcho Bernardo (4-1, 1-1): It’s unlikely RB will duplicate Poway’s shutout of Fallbrook last week.
San Dieguito (2-3, 0-2) / Orange Glen (2-3, 0-2): OG has lost three straight; San Dieguito lost heartbreaker last week.
Point Loma (3-2) / Kearny (4-1): If James Curtis (905 yards) doesn’t get 1,000 for 3rd year in row, Komets in trouble.

El Capitan (4-1) / Monte Vista (3-2): Big nonleague test for both schools. Both have won three in a row.
LJCD (0-3, 0-0) / Julian (4-0, 0-0): High-powered Julian will hand once-unbeatable Torres their fifth consecutive loss.
Borrego (1-3, 0-0) / Francis Parker (2-3, 0-0): Only league’s 45-pointrule will keep Parker below 50-0 rout.
Army-Navy (2-2, 0-0) / Calipatria (4-1, 0-0): Army-Navy begins Operation Desert Storm; nothing but desert schools left on schedule.
