Payroll Bandits Hit Woody Allen Film Unit

NEW YORK — Two armed bandits stole $35,000 in a payroll heist Friday at a movie production company owned by Woody Allen, police said.
The men walked into Manhattan Productions Inc. on mid-Manhattan’s West 57th Street, fired a shot into the air and ordered the three employees in the office to turn over the cash, and fled, McCluskey said.
