Performance of Genser, Abdo in Santa Monica

Mayor Ken Genser and Judy Abdo have handled themselves shamefully on the Santa Monica City Council and have a nerve running for reelection. After allowing a national homeless problem to escalate into a dangerous local disaster, then pleading for solutions from the Homeless Task Force, they turn around and ignore the recommendations. Amazing! Disgusting!
The Santa Monica city attorney’s office has been controlling Genser and Abdo for years, and continues to do so. Only now is it obvious to even their most staunch supporters that these two and SMRR are unworthy of our trust. We, the tenants, put you into power, and now you’ve betrayed even us. We deserve leaders of substance, not political lap dogs with an unwanted agenda answerable to no one.
