Defensive end Leslie O’Neal, the San Diego Chargers’ top pass rusher, underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair cartilage damage in his right knee.
O’Neal will miss Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos in San Diego but could return Nov. 1 when the Chargers play host to the Indianapolis Colts.
