HUNTINGTON BEACH — Steve Correa scored four first-half touchdowns to help Servite to a 41-0 victory over winless Ocean View in a Sunset League game at Huntington Beach High School.
Correa carried six times for 60 yards. He scored on runs of two, one, 20 and five yards. The Friars (6-0-1, 4-0 in league) scored all five times they had the ball in the first half.
A minor fight broke out on the field late in the third quarter, and officials decided to play the fourth quarter with a running clock because of the one-sided score and to prevent further incidents.
Servite quarterback Eric Hannah was six of nine for 132 yards, all in the first half. He had a 52-yard scoring pass to John Morinaga in the second quarter.
Servite’s defense held Ocean View (0-7, 0-4) to 48 yards in total offense and four first downs.
