Goodman gave us a stimulating account of Valenzuela’s baseball career in Mexico after his release from the major leagues.

Whether or not Valenzuela makes it back, he should once again become a real role model by returning to Los Angeles to help develop a year-round baseball program for L.A.’s Latino youth.
