Marilee Roller has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Irvine-based Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co.’s newly created subsidiary, Pacific Corinthian Life Insurance Co. in San Diego. The subsidiary was created to assume the business of First Capital Life Insurance Co., which was placed into conservatorship in May, 1991. Roller will be responsible for the implementation of Pacific Mutual’s court-approved rehabilitation plan over a five-year period. Roller was previously vice president and controller of Pacific Mutual.
