Record Food Stamp Fraud Alleged: The government has filed a $120-million civil lawsuit for food stamp fraud against a New York grocery store, the largest ever filed since the program began in 1964, the U.S. Agriculture Department said. The suit against Brooklyn wholesaler Felix Puello, 47, of Puello Meats & Provisions Co., claims that the wholesaler fraudulently redeemed more than $40 million worth of food stamps.
