Presidential Campaign

Ironically, the recent collapse of the Eastern Bloc is being accompanied by an apparent surrender of its chief antagonist, the Reagan-Bush conservative coalition. As the former Iron Curtain grapples with the birth of free market economies, our own financially dispirited nation seeks conversion from 12 years of failed economic theory. The American electorate appears indisposed to giving a disproportionate amount of humanitarian aid to the former Marxist states. Once again, we must strengthen our national fabric, vis-a-vis education, employment, the federal deficit, crime, health care, transportation and all other roads to rebuilding America.
