Matt Flynn of Montrose was confirmed as a member of the Los Angeles County Commission on Alcoholism by the County Board of Supervisors. Flynn is a self-employed businessman who contracts with smaller businesses to evaluate employees with personal problems and refer them to the appropriate county resources.
Carl P. Treling, a Glendale resident, was appointed to the county Commission on AIDS. Treling, a pathologist, is co-chairman of the department of pathology and clinical laboratory at the Queen of Angels-Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Feliz.
