A pair of women were in custody Wednesday on drug possession charges after state agents discovered $50,000 worth of methamphetamine in an apartment, authorities said.
State drug agents arrested Sandra McKeating of Huntington Beach and Teresa Louise Porter of Bellflower, both 29, during a raid late Tuesday, said Allan J. Roth, a special agent supervisor with the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement.
Roth said state drug agents, with Huntington Beach police officers, discovered six pounds of methamphetamine in an apartment in the 18900 block of Florida Street.
Investigators were tipped to the apartment and arrested the women without incident, Roth said.
McKeating and Porter were being held in lieu of $200,000 bail each.
