San Diego : Youth Shot in Neck Survives Attack

A youth survived a shotgun blast to the neck head Wednesday afternoon, San Diego police reported.
The 17-year-old was in serious condition at Mercy Hospital Wednesday night after the 2:45 p.m. shooting in the 3200 block of Chamoune Avenue, a hospital spokeswoman said. The victim’s name was unavailable.
The police gang unit is investigating the shooting, police said.
