HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CITY SECTION ROUNDUP : Sylmar Stays Undefeated, 35-0

Unbeaten Sylmar High proved its standing as the dominant City Section team in the area with a convincing 35-0 win over host Birmingham (4-3, 3-2 in league play) on Friday night in an East Valley League game.
The Spartans (7-0, 5-0) limited the host Braves to 117 yards in total offense in posting their second consecutive shutout and fourth of the season.
Quarterback Deon Price led a balanced Sylmar attack, completing seven of 11 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. Running back Tyrone Crenshaw rushed 20 times for 124 yards and two scores.
Tight end Tyrone Pierce and wide receiver Dwight Patton also scored on runs, and wide receiver John Gaitanis caught four passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.
