New Mexico State basketball players Corey Rogers and David Lofton will go on trial in March on battery charges for allegedly beating a man outside a Las Cruces, N.M., restaurant. Municipal Judge Steve Ryan set a March 2 trial date for Rogers, 21, and Lofton, 23, who have pleaded not guilty to beating Conrad Padilla, 41, in a restaurant parking lot.
