‘The Legend’ Is Lost

The script of the premiere of “Kung Fu: The Legend Continues” (KCOP, Jan. 27) reads like it came out of a fortune cookie. This mishmash of Asian stereotypes evokes memories of Fu Manchu, Mr. Moto and, I’ll be darned, the original “Kung Fu.” It was bad enough in the ‘70s, but reprehensible that we are subjected to it in the 1990s. And with white actors in “yellow face” yet!
