HANCOCK PARK : Run Against Crime Features 3 Races

The Wilshire Community Police Council sponsors its 13th annual Run Against Crime today, featuring a five-day trip to Seoul, South Korea, as the grand prize.
Grand Marshal George Takei, a star of the original “Star Trek” series, will signal the start of the day’s three races--a 2-kilometer fun run for children at 8 a.m., a 5-K run at 8:15 a.m. and a 10-K run at 8:30 a.m. Registration, which closes at 7:45 a.m., is $12 for the fun run and $17 for the other races.
