Paul Gentilozzi passed teammate Darin Brassfield with two laps remaining and went on to win the crash-interrupted Miami Exxon Supreme GT race.
The race was stopped after one lap when Tommy Riggins crashed into a concrete barrier. After it took nearly an hour to repair the damage, race officials decided to shorten the one-hour event to 35 minutes. Riggins was not injured.
