Orange Coast Coach Don Watson expects Baham to be one of the most versatile swimmers on his team, and she has shown that to be the truth after only one meet.
She won the 100 freestyle in 56.24 seconds then won the 100 individual medley in 1:04.55. She completed her day by taking the 200 individual medley in 2:16.95 in the 166-71 victory over Palomar on Friday.
Baham, from Arcadia High, is another in a long line of outstanding swimmers who have helped OCC become the most dominating community college team in the state. The Pirates have won 82 consecutive dual meets as well as four consecutive State titles and eight of the last nine.
Another top performer:
Hariet Azizians of Cypress, who won the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly as the Chargers beat Riverside, 198-53.
