I was appalled that Abcarian shrugged off the conviction of (the teen-ager’s) parents and took a position of authority over them.
At 18, her friend is but one year away from the influence, guidance and care of her parents. Perhaps someday if Abcarian’s daughter seeks the support of a friend over her parents, she’ll know how they feel.
