Expanding News: Channel 2 Action News will expand its Action News Weekend Report March 13 to include a 6-7 p.m. broadcast. Penny Griego and Hosea Sanders will anchor. “Star Search,” which currently airs at 6 p.m., will move to an as-yet-unspecified slot. Meanwhile, Dennis Phillips, who comes from WJAR-TV in Providence, R.I., will join Channel 2 as weekend weathercaster on March 6.
