DONNY’S DALENA: Blond, blue-eyed Caucasian singer Dalena of Orlando, Fla., has endeared herself to Orange County’s Vietnamese community with her perfect Vietnamese accent (B1). But it was a different kind of singer whose appeal influenced her to try a music career--kiddie favorite Donny Osmond, who now lives in Irvine. At age 9, she would pop his “Puppy Love” into the cassette player and mimic him. “I just liked the way he scrunched up his face on sad songs,” she says with an embarrassed laugh. “I guess I could relate to him.”
