Nike to Air Ad in Spanish: Nike plans to broadcast one of the first Spanish-language TV spots on prime-time network television during baseball’s All-Star Game on Thursday. The 30-second TV spot, which is entirely in Spanish and which will also be broadcast in Latin America, will carry English subtitles. The ad, “Land of the Shortstops,” focuses on the large number of Major League shortstops who have come from the Dominican Republic.
