Entertainment: Walt Disney Co. on Monday formally denied a report published in the Sunday Times of London that company executives met with Euro Disney representatives over the weekend to discuss the future of the troubled French theme park. The paper had said the discussion topics included an injection of new funding, a rights issue and possibly closing the park. Euro Disney, 49%-owned by Walt Disney Co., has suffered from image problems compounded by the French recession since opening in April, 1992. With a $3-billion debt, Euro Disney last week posted a third-quarter loss of $83 million, while revenue declined 15%. But Disney officials stressed Monday that there are no plans to close the park.
